I have written in the past about Gold Star Mothers. In 2009, and back in 2008 I wrote of them as my Every Day Heroes.
Even though there is only day annually set aside to honour these precious military mothers, they are all heroes, every.single. day.
This year, The White House is recognising - as I saw elsewhere online yesterday - that the whole family of a Fallen Hero feels the loss and deserves recognition: the fathers, the sisters, the brothers, etc.Forever in my heart.
