Thank you so much for all you and your organization have done for our wounded. They truly appreciate the touch of home and caring that your donations represent.
Additionally, our soldiers could use disposable razors. After we have cleared their baggage for travel, it is locked up and that’s often the evening before an early flight. Many of them would like a morning shave, so a supply of disposable razors would come in handy.
We got 2 boxes of knit caps today. With the upcoming winter, they will be even more popular than ever.
Another request is for stuffed animals. We often get these and put them on their beds, along with notes and cards from well-wishers. It’s amazing to see these brave young men take comfort in stuffed animals.
Thank you again. God bless you and your volunteers for your caring support.
We also have many deployed individual service members and units signing up to be adopted right now. Can you adopt one? How about your church, school, scout troop, or other civic or volunteer organization? This requires a commitment of regular letters and packages to be sent over their whole deployment.
If you cannot adopt, can you help spread the word? If you are a blogger, can you please write about the need? Can you hang up some posters in your community? If so, let me know and I will get you some posters and information.
Update: Go read why Holly chose to join Soldiers' Angels.
