Perspective

Life continues to be on fast forward, so many things competing for my time and attention. One thing I have been doing is helping to coordinate some support for a wounded soldier and his family for Christmas. I'm pleased to report that this family will be well taken care of with special thanks to Big Dog for a referral. Juggling needs of family, volunteer activities, work, and trying to keep a proper spiritual perspective on the season is really challenging. Hasn't left me much time for blogging, obviously. And as for all my grand aspirations to make Christmas cards and other gifts this year, needless to say, that isn't happening. So instead I will contribute to the continuing commercialization of the season. Hey, that's got to be good for the economy, right?

Also I would ask that you please keep MaryAnn's family in your prayers during this time.

And now back to work.
