I found the following video on Knee Deep in the Hooah, who found it on Nice Deb.
It is the creation of a group formed to fight anti-Americanism in the world. The site is very interesting, and has quite a few items about the level of real knowledge that Brits have about America. I think most of my regular readers would agree that I have quite a good grasp and appreciation of all things American....It seems that I am quite a rare Brit..lol . Great video. Here in the US most of the media rhetoric and liberal drum pounding doesn't truly reflect the feelings of most Americans.
I remember part of a speech made by Colon Powell a few years back, "We have gone forth from our shores repeatedly over the last hundred years and we’ve done this as recently as the last year in Afghanistan and put wonderful young men and women at risk, many of whom have lost their lives, and we have asked for nothing except enough ground to bury them in..."
Is the US motivated by self interests? Of course, but our interests are not restricted to the mighty dollar - we serve our country with liberty and justice for ALL.
