Aviella Winder CD Release

I first met Miss Aviella Winder in 2006 when she was just 8 years old.   At that young age, she told her parents how important it was to her to support the troops, and taught herself many patriotic songs.   I frequently saw her at the airport singing for soldiers returning home from Iraq and Afghanistan. Aviella volunteered to sing for several Soldiers' Angels events in this area and became a member of Soldiers' Angels herself, now an official Junior Ambassador.  In addition, she has sung in support of our troops and veterans for fundraisers for the Patriot Guard Riders, Blue Star Mothers, Veteran's Outreach Center, American Legion and others.  With a voice and talent as big as her heart, it is no surprise that she is now releasing her debut CD and donating a portion of the proceeds to Soldiers' Angels!

“Ready for Today,” will be released at a party starting at 4 p.m. this Saturday, May 29 at the House of Guitars, 645 Titus Ave., Irondequoit.

Aviella will perform at the event which is free and open to the public. She’ll also sign copies of the CD which will be available for purchase, as well as her bracelets and autographed pictures and posters.

I wanted to leave you with a clip of her singing, and you must hear her sing the National Anthem, this video from Madison Square Garden at a WNBA opening last July.

And here, rocking out to Guns & Roses and other stuff in a great rock medley.

If you are in the Rochester area, head out to the H.O.G. on Saturday and pick up the new CD! If not, you can support her and Soldiers' Angels by purchasing it online here.

Young Aviella has some pipes, fer shure. The "Star Spangled Banner" is prolly THE most difficult song of all to sing and she did it WELL. Impressive.
