Arrived home last night after 9 glorious days "away from it all". Vegas was.... interesting. Some of the highlights included meeting many angels I have had the privilege of working with, the tour of Nellis AFB, and the "Support the Troops" rally at a local VFW. And Toby Keith's bar... oops... I wasn't supposed to say anything about that. The trip to the Grand Canyon after the Vegas meeting was fabulous. Really incredible. It's going to take me a little while to catch up on things.

Welcome Home! You were missed...
9 days in Vegas, and you did not have to call for bail money, or a referral to a lawyer?
That leaves one more question, did you marry a back up dancer or singer, or anything while out there?
I hope you had a great time.
I once spent five days in Vegas, or was it nights? We had to work at a ski show by day, and we played by night. I was so worn out when I got home; I slept for a week. Of course, that was back during the Navy Tailhook days.
Glad your back.
I love vegas...
I loved going to the grand canyon... and the marshmellow factory and the Ocean spray factory when I was there...
and the other places I went were wonderful... you know what they say "what happens in vegas, stays in vegas"...
Glad you are back and that you had a great time!
Heehee. No, I did not get married.... whew! We contemplated crashing a wedding, but we were too busy. We couldn't do anything too crazy, because the only cash we had for bail money was what we collected for the Nellis FRG. And of course we couldn't use that for bail, so we had to behave like good angels instead.... okay, so maybe we did let our halos get slightly crooked, but we didn't lose them ;)
Welcome back, Laurie - and thanks for helping with the Camp Lejeune Ballerinas!
